Mina Guirgis
Mina is a third year Upper GI Fellow currently working at Christchurch Hospital, in the beautiful South Island of New Zealand, the country’s highest volume oesophagogastric resectional unit, completing his first year of AANZGOSA post fellowship training. He is passionate about clinical and academic advances in all facets of benign and malignant Upper GI surgery including minimally invasive surgery and advanced endoscopy. He has completed a Master’s Degree in Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery through the University of Adelaide as well as published and presented numerous Upper GI surgery research at a national and international level. He will return home to Western Australia to commence his final year of AANZGOSA fellowship at Sir Charles Gairdner hospital in 2025.
