Until recently, the Da Vinci® surgical system has been the primary technology used for robotic anti-reflux surgery1. Medtronic introduced the Hugo Robotic-Assisted Surgery (RAS) system globally in 20212 and to Australia by 2023. We demonstrate our approach to hiatus hernia repair and anterior fundoplication using the Hugo RAS.
